'People Doing Cool Things' is a fortnightly series where we spotlight the people who inspire us, the way they move through the world, and what they'd wear while doing it. Featuring:  Aisha Ayoade

Aisha is a copywriter, creator, champion of the arts, and an all around beam of light. In her spare time, she’s the founder of Shop Sheba, a handmade, limited season clothing collection, and Yellow, an arts enterprise and community centering UK creatives from the African, Caribbean and Asian diaspora. Needless to say, she’s a woman to watch.

On why she and her brother founded Yellow:

We wanted to create a space that celebrated voices of colour, whether they were talking about race or not. If you’re painting or you’re doing photography centred around race, that’s great, but you also don’t have to fit into a pigeon hole.

" We focus on representation and put people of colour front and centre by providing a space for their narratives to be heard and celebrated."

This top is made for a day party.
